Hello my friends and thank you for visiting this website. The purpose of this website and the creation of Deborah’s Lifetime is to build the Lord’s church, by calling for true repentance and declaring the prophecies given to me by the Lord. True repentance produces holy living. If our compass in life does not lead us into obedience and the practice of holiness, it is leading us into a lie. Now, no one can obey the Father at the same level that our Lord Jesus did, but we are certainly capable of obtaining a sufficient level. Once we determine it is time to live for God and cry out for his presence, he is going to put his Spirit within us and place a calling on our lives. For the Bible says he ascended on high and gave gifts. Predominantly, my Scriptural references are based on the New King James Version. The primary prophecy

Now, the Lord has not revealed to me any specific date and the Bible says no man knows the day or hour. The primary prophecy given by the Lord is he will return in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. I do not consider myself a prophet like the Old Testament Prophets but have been given key prophecies I am witnessing come true. Also, the Lord is allowing the Holy Spirit to confirm this prophecy to me continuously. Since January 2019, I have not ceased to experience the physical presence of the Holy Spirit. I dreamed of this experience before it begin in the real world. Currently, it feels like a small tingling sensation or electrical buzz throughout the entire body, it does not hurt and thank God I am not hearing voices!

During prayer and worship, the sensations get more intense and the wind blows over this little man. However, even when I am not praying or thinking about the Lord, the sensations never cease. The sensations took a while for me to get accustomed to. Now if they stop, I would definitely wonder why he stopped them. However, I was saved before the sensations started and will definitely be saved if they stop. Our salvation is not conditioned upon a feeling, but faith in Jesus death on the cross, our practice of holiness and we must continue in this direction until our last breath. For the Bible says, without holiness, no man will see the Lord and the grace of God teaches us to say no to unrighteousness.

A greater judgment for Bible Teachers

Yes my friends, any so called Pastor, Priest, Theologian, Scholar or Bible Teacher telling us we do not have to or cannot practice holiness, is lying. We cannot say we know or love the Lord, while continuously disobeying his rules, that is utterly nonsense. For the Bible says those who say they know him and practice sin is not walking in truth. Our Lord said why do you call me Lord and do not do the things I command. Now many of you probably believe you are saved only by your faith or belief that Jesus died for your sins on the cross and your works or holy living have no part in your salvation. In other words, Jesus has saved you and now you are just living holy to demonstrate your appreciation. This is how I was taught when I first begin to follow the Lord. You have confessed your sins, been baptized and are all covered in respect to your soul. In fact, I was taught that we are all broken and cannot stop sinning. I was taught that as long as we are in this body and under the curse, we will continue to practice sin. In fact, they taught me that I was sinning continuously, but Jesus blood covers this.

My friends, these teachers are confusing our past actions with our present state. There are many people in the Bible who were righteous and living blameless according to God’s standard. Job, Simeon, Anna, Zacharias and his wife as well as Mary and Joseph, so we know it is possible to live in obedience to the Lord’s rules. Then I was taught that Jesus blood covers my past, present and future sins. How can Jesus blood cover sins we have not committed or repented of in the future? I recall this one guy asked me how many sins had I committed when Jesus died on the cross? I thought for a minute and the guy said all of them. I said how could I because I did not exist when Jesus died on the cross? Just because God knew I would be created does that mean he held me accountable before I existed?

Is the Doctrine of Original Sin Biblical?

I have discovered many Bible Teachers are afraid to or do not know how to teach on testing, temptation and if the soul fails the test and begins to live a life of sin. In addition, if the soul falls into a sin, they are afraid to teach on what true repentance and a life dedicated to following the Lord looks like. The reason is they are confused and think the body is in constant sin. They have been taught the doctrine of original sin which is confusing certain passages of the Bible. I remember asking a Pastor if he thinks its’ possible to go 24 hours without sinning? He smiled and said, I suppose so if the person was asleep.

My friends, this man does not know what sin and disobedience is. He believes sin is somehow in his DNA. He is confusing being in the flesh with being in the physical body. Since he believes sin is passed down through the DNA or body, he believes it is impossible to go just 24 hours or even 1 hour without sinning. My friends, God’s eternal curse has gone out and cannot be reversed, so our past sins will always condemn us, which is why we need Jesus eternal blood to overcome the curse. However, there is a major difference in continuing to disobey God or live for our fleshly desires, while saying God I cannot help it because you made me a sinner. Regardless if we know Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic, we must always interpret any word within the context of the passage. When we interpret the word flesh in the context of any passage, we can see when the word is used to refer to our fleshly or sinful desires verses when it is used in reference to the physical body. Is my physical body sinful?

Now after the 1st sin in the Garden of Eden, God pronounced the curse on the serpent, woman, man and his entire creation. Was the sin of our 1st parents passed down to us through our body or DNA? When thoughts against God’s rules enter our mind, can we choose to say Lord take this from me or choose to take pleasure in them? Is God going to hold us accountable for the sin of Adam and Eve or our own sin? How should we understand the doctrine of original sin? Are we sinners by being human or is it a result of our choices?

Let’s see, according to the Bible, do we have a human being that never sinned? Yes, that was Jesus. So, therefore we know Jesus did not inherit sin through his DNA from his parents. Now you might say Jesus’ Father was God, true but his mother Mary was definitely a human being. Therefore, Mary would have passed down sin through her body to Jesus, unless she to was sinless. Now if we conclude that Mary was sinless, then her parents needed to be sinless and their parents and so on. My friends, the Bible is clear all have sinned, except Jesus and come short of the glory of God. Yes, my Catholic brothers, that includes Mary so you have missed the mark on this one. John the Baptist, the greatest man born of women said, I have need to be baptism by you, speaking to Jesus. The Bible is also clear when it says the soul that sins shall die. My friends, there is continuous testing and tempting occurring within our mind/soul/spirit while we reside in this physical body. As we get closer to God, we understand the spiritual warfare happening within us. So if our bodies are still practicing sin or disobeying God, then our mind/soul/spirit are trapped under the curse and we are failing the test. This is why the Bible says we must continually renew our mind by studying God’s word and the body will follow. Now everyone, that is Old and New Covenant, is saved by God’s grace through their faith. In other words, no one can demand entrance into heaven, except Jesus because he never broke God’s rules. However, the Bible is clear, if your faith does not cause your body to produce holy living, you will hear the words spoken by the Lord, depart from me you evil doers or you who practice sin. For the Revelation says outside the city are those who practiced sin. Once we are born again, our bodies become the temple of the living God, therefore we cannot have sinful practices roaming around in them. My friends, when we understand the physical body is not sinful, this goes a long way to helping us realize whether we are obeying or disobeying the Creator. Please understand, no one is passed down sin through their DNA. My friends, if someone can convince us our physical body is sinful, they have placed a yoke on us God never intended. Now this is not saying we cannot inherit physical traits from our parents, such as eye color, hair color, skin color, being taller, shorter, stronger or faster. However, inherited traits through our genes are different from us being held accountable by God for our parents actions. For instance, if my father chose to sexually molest people or live as a drunkard is God going to hold me accountable for these actions? Can we repent for the sins passed to us from our parents? Of course not! Even if the Lord accepted some repentance and fasting from us on behalf of our dead parents, if they died practicing sin do you think he is going to let them out of hell? No my friends, because purgatory is a false doctrine taught by some of our Catholic brothers.

Sin is a slippery slope

We sin when we use our mind or body to disobey God’s rules. My friends, there is a difference between taking pleasure in wicked thoughts or saying Lord I reject these wicked thoughts. Also, if we look at an individual and conclude they are sinful or we are more righteous, before speaking with them, there is something wrong with our thought process. Sex is a pleasurable expression given to us by our Creator until if falls outside of the boundaries God determined. This includes someone sitting around lusting, watching porn and abusing themselves. Then the act brings guilt, shame, brokenness, etc. If someone can break God’s rules outlined for sexuality and not feel shame, they are in a dangerous position. God has given us the Holy Spirit to convict us of sin, righteousness and judgment. In other words, the Holy Spirit lets us know if we are disobeying or obeying God and there is a final grade in the end. My friends, our Creator does not judge on the curve because he is giving us an open book test, it’s pretty much pass or fail. Our Lord will say I know you or I do not. When the foolish virgins knocked on the door and said Lord open to us, what was the Lord’s response?

The process of sin

Sin is a process my friends and since all of us have sinned or disobeyed God rules, except our Lord, we are under the curse of death. Yes, we have all tasted of the forbidden fruit or pleasures of the flesh and therefore, subject to God’s curse. In the context of my use of the word flesh, it is obvious I am referring to our sinful will going against God’s rules. Now we know God is an eternal being so the curse cannot be reversed, but must be overcome. We overcome by the blood of the lamb, our testimony and we do not love our lives or this fallen world. However, sinning can be fun for a season but if not addressed, it can bring a heavy price tag in this age and definitely the next. Our Lord said to the Pharisees, watch out because you are approaching the point of no return. In other words, sins which will not be forgiven in this age or the age to come.

Now, are we in full grown sin, death and separation at the initial point of disobedience? I do not think so because Cain disobeyed God and God said sin lies at the door, which indicates it was not in his life yet. However, only our Creator knows when someone goes from the initial act of disobedience to full grown sin which brings death and separation. Therefore, even small acts of disobedience should be confessed before the Lord. My friends, small acts of rebellion can quickly turn south, because the process of sin is a slippery slope. Now our Creator is long suffering and will give us time to repent because he even gave that wicked Queen Jezebel time. But there is a point if the soul persist in disobedience that he will remove that soul’s lampstand. What did Ananias and Sapphira experience after that last lie to the Holy Spirit?

Our path to obedience

As someone experiencing the continuous presence of our Creator, I know he is not sitting around ready to pounce on us when we initially step out of line. I believe if we make small corrections, the Lord does not have to drop the hammer. Paul said if we would judge ourselves, he would not need to. I believe what Paul is saying is we should be making small corrections when necessary. Now in the case of Jonah strong rebellion to direct instructions resulted in strong correction. In my case, it was not a giant fish swallowing me but intense demonic attacks for a week with lingering hip pain! For those of us extremely close to the Lord, disobedience brings a quick response from the Creator. Therefore, we must continually examine ourselves to see whether or not we are in the faith or in disobedience. Now after a soul has reached the point of persistent rebellion to God’s rules, a more lengthy process of repentance or restoration is necessary. Do not be deceived my friends, one man’s crimes against God is different from the next, which means the process of repentance and redemption is different for each soul. Our theology can leave us in weakness

Many Bible Teachers are living in weakness and therefore, they are leaving their congregation in a state of confusion. Is someone saved who believes in the doctrine of original sin? When our number comes up, if we are not practicing sin or living in disobedience, why would God reject us? Paul said we all see through a glass dimly. Yes my friends, I believe this brother is still saved. Again, the doctrine of original sin is not something to divide over like the Deity of Christ or is Jesus the only way to Father God. For there is only one name given to us for the purpose of salvation. However, this believer is living a life of weakness. Our God can distinguish between those actually practicing sin and disobeying him, from those living in poor theology. This is why the Bible says let not many of us become teachers, knowing we will receive a stricter judgment.

Do you honestly think when the Holy Spirit comes into a persons life with power, they will continue to live a life of sin or rebellion, depression and weakness? Now can a believer have periods of rebellion, depression and weakness? Of course. However, the Bible says if a righteous man falls 7 times, he will get back up again. What did Jesus mean when he said I give you power to trample on scorpions, snakes, move mountains and bind the strong man? What did Jesus mean when he said, he who the son sets free is free indeed? Now my friends, I am not saying God has not given us support groups and Godly relationships to help us overcome. Therefore, if eating meat, drinking alcohol or any other action makes my brother stumble, then I will never do these things around them. Some of us have more freedom than others but must be sensitive to our weaker brothers and sisters. Some of our brothers have struggled with sexual lust so long that it would be difficult for them to evangelize around any beach.

The coming test of our souls

Jesus said to the Church of Philadelphia, the hour of trial was coming upon the whole world to test us and he would keep us from it. When we consider the level of testing John and all the apostles endured in their life, this should tell us the ultimate test has to be pretty tough. In fact, the Lord said about those days, deception would be so great that if possible, the very elect would be deceived. My friends, our Great Deceiver, Satan is pulling out all the stops! Everything from demons walking around saying they are aliens from a distant planet to our dead love ones appearing to us with messages. Now, when the Lord said I will keep the church from it, my understanding is he will keep those who persevere from failing the test. I do not believe the church will be removed by some secret rapture. However, secretly, I hope we can escape some testing.

I see the ultimate test as whether a person receives the Mark of the Beast, because without it, we cannot get to our money to buy or sell. Without receiving this Mark, we will lose access to the basic necessities of life, such as food, water and shelter. If the Mark is only symbolic then how would we know whether we have received it? Now, does receiving the Mark have spiritual implications? Without a doubt! The Bible says whoever receives it will drink of God’s wrath. I believe the Mark will be some form of biometric technology that identifies the person and it must go on the hand or forehead. When our world begins to phase out physical cash, the technology of the Mark of the Beast will be implemented. We will need a higher level of protection on our transactions because once physical cash is removed, hacking is going to be off the hook!

Once the Mark of the Beast hits our world, which will be really soon because physical cash is slowly being phased out, we will see the ultimate cost one must pay to obey the Lord. When this happens, how many will still believe we are only saved by faith and our works or actions do not play a part? However, refusing the Mark because you are antigovernment does not mean you are saved. But rest assured, receiving the Mark because you are deceived or afraid to pay this high cost, will definitely condemn the soul. Now, as we approach the ultimate test, the testing of our faith is increasing. My friends, we must truly understand what it means to deny ourself, pickup our cross and follow the Lord, so we can stand as deception increases in our world. Furthermore, if our number comes up before the Mark hits our world and we are not living a sacrificial holy life, we will not make it. The teachings on my website

The Gospel of Luke says the Holy Spirit was upon Simeon, a just and devout man revealing to him the Lord’s birth in his lifetime. Now, the Holy Spirit is upon this little man indicating the Lord’s 2nd coming in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. The Bible says in Amos that the Lord does nothing unless he reveals his secrets to his servants the prophets. My friends, God loves us so much but it is time to press into the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to help us stop sinning so we will not end up in torment! God’s desire is to save us and use our talents and resources to further his agenda in the world. Our Lord said, fear not little children, it is the Father’s pleasure to give you the kingdom. Beginning presence of the Holy Spirit

Again, I do not consider myself a prophet but have received prophecies I am witnessing come true right before my eyes. I dreamed of having supernatural experiences before they began in the real world. The Bible said in the end, God would pour out his spirit or presence and we would get an increase in dreams, visions and experiences. His continuous presence upon me have not ceased since January 2019, which confirms to me I am not hallucinating. Below is my testimony of this phenomenon.

The Lord’s initial visit

Around June 2017, the Lord did something very strange to me. I am unsure if this was a dream or vision. I felt the Lord come into my room and sit on my bed, in the dream or vision, I opened my mouth and the Lord breathed into me. I woke up and chills were over my body.

The Lord’s subsequent visit

Around November 2017, in a dream or vision, the Lord was in my bedroom, he reached his hand through my wall and grabbed my hand. I felt the Lord’s hand on my hand in the bed. The Lord stayed there for a few seconds and after he left, I felt strange sensations over my entire body.

Deborah’s lifetime prophecy

Around August 2018 in a dream, I received the prophecy that he is coming in my sister Deborah’s lifetime. In the dream, the Lord was within me and I felt similar sensations I am feeling now.

The rise of the Antichrist prophecy

Around November 2018 in a dream, I was taken down to hell and meet a man who said the Antichrist was rising soon. I was given an understanding that the Catholic Church would propel him to power. Now, I am not saying there are no born again Catholics.

Angelic visitor

Around January 2019, I felt a presence enter my room. I was not asleep because I had just laid down. I felt the presence touch my feet and I immediately felt warm sensations over my entire body. I turned to see a glowing, white face without a blemish. The being appeared male and had two eyes, normal nose, mouth and chin. His eyes were piercing blue. I said, you are an angel. He smiled and said, Marvin you have eternal life, you will never die. I stared at him for a while and could feel his strength within me. This experience lasted for about a minute.

Initial presence of the Holy Spirit

A few days later, I woke up and experienced a small tingling sensation in my right hand. Of course, I assumed that I must have just slept wrong. However, I noticed that when I prayed the sensations got stronger. My friends, this was the beginning of me experiencing the physical presence of the Holy Spirit. Now, I did not hear a voice saying, Marvin this is the Holy Spirit you are experiencing.

Initial supernatural resistance in prayer

Approximately 6 months to a year later, I began to experience strong physical sensations in prayer. When they first began, I had no clue of what was happening or why I was struggling to breathe during prayer. The chest pressure, dizziness and coldness got so intense that I just did not want to pray. Also, fearing this would be my normal experience in prayer, I dreaded the experience.

However, now I prepare my mind before entering prayer because I know the attacks are coming. At times, it has felt like I was being transported and then there is popping in the ears, similar to what someone would experience during air travel. Often there is popping on the skin, similar to what you would experience during an electrical discharge. Often, I feel things crawling on my head, back and feet. At times, I hear what appears to be someone walking in my room. The wind blows over me all during the prayer. More recently, after prayer the whole body aches, similar to what you experience after overcoming a cold or virus infection. My friends, I am definitely interacting with the spirit world and receiving continuous confirmation the prophecy is true.

My Dreams and Visions

My friends, any dreams, visions or spiritual experiences must be compared with the Scripture. Anywhere our experiences contradict the Scripture, we must conclude they are not coming from the God of the Bible. However, we must be careful not to put God in a box, otherwise we will miss encounters he has planned for us. I have received and documented certain dreams from April 2017 forward that I believe are from the Lord. Also, I attempt to provide an interpretation for many of them. Notice I said attempt, because I am not hearing a voice saying, Marvin this is the meaning. When you read the Bible, the Lord uses symbols in many of the dreams and visions. The Scripture says in the Book of Joel that in the end, the Lord will pour out his Spirit and we will receive dreams and visions. Now the outpouring of the Holy Spirit begin at Pentecost in the Book of Acts and will continue until the Lord returns. Also, when you read the New Testament, you can see how the Lord directed Mary, Joseph, Zacharias, the wise men, Peter, Paul and others through their dreams and visions. It is a reasonable assumption the closer we are to his return, the more details will be provided. In the Book of Daniel, the Bible says in the end knowledge will increase. As the Lord provides additional dreams and visions, I will post them. However, I am very careful when proclaiming a vision or dream is from the Lord. We know just as Satan gave the Lord a vision of full authority in exchange for worship, he can give us the same thing. Many of us are having supernatural experiences, which is why we must compare them against Scripture.

My Initial Conversion

My initial experience happened when I was around 24 years old in 1990, while a senior in College. Now, I confessed my sins and was baptized at the age of 16, but now realize that I did not have the Holy Spirit. After my conversion in College, I began passing out tracts and witnessing on the campus of Fullerton State University. Many of my night clubbing buddies just thought I got religious and went off the deep end. Coming from a poor family, I chose Finance as a major and the plan was to move to New York, become a stock broker, make all the money and run all the women! Now being a fairly good looking guy, physically strong, relatively smart and extremely confident, this plan was definitely within my reach.

One day, I was returning to my apartment with my then girlfriend, who became my first wife, whom I lost to cancer after 11 1/2 years of marriage. The complex was full of police officers. An officer said, sir you cannot enter your unit because someone is threating to commit suicide and we are trying to talk them down. Now being the sensitive guy I was, I said I do not care I have to go to the bathroom. A man in the complex was near us and he said, you can come use my bathroom. I said thanks and my girlfriend and I went to his apartment. I noticed this guy had very little furniture, no TV and a Bible open on his coffee table. When I came from the bathroom he asked me, are you a Christian? I said yes, while sleeping and living with my girlfriend. He said I am new to the area and do not know many Christians, so would you like to begin studying the Bible with me? Not wanting to be viewed as a hypocrite, I said yes.

The conviction of the Holy Spirit

Over the next few months we studied Corinthians. I came under tremendous conviction because my girlfriend and I were sleeping and living together. During that time, the Lord gave me a powerful dream. In the dream, I was struggling with following a guy who was standing on a stage. The guy said follow me and I will lead you to riches. In that dream, I remember saying no I am not going to follow you, but I am going to follow Jesus. After waking up from the dream, I found my bed soaking wet! It felt like someone had poured water on my bed. My girlfriend and I stopped sleeping together and within a month or so, we were married. My big proposal was we have to get married or break up.

I began reading the Bible approximately 8 hours a day and listening to nothing but Christian teaching and music. I remember this lasted for about 6 months and on a Monday night at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, when Greg Laura was teaching, I went forward, publicly confessed the Lord and was baptized shortly after. A few years after this event, I attended the wedding of my old friend Delbert. I am so grateful of the approach he used to help convert me, which was come study the Bible with me. Now, I am sure he was praying hard for me to come under conviction from the Holy Spirit.

Miraculous Healing and Words for Fasting

Our Lord is gracious and can heal us even after we have glorified the flesh and allowed the locust to eat up so much of our lives. Without this miraculous healing of my herniated disc, there is no way I would be able to perform so much street ministry. After receiving this healing, the body was strengthened and he gave some direct words on fasting. Now, I am sharing the words with you, but everyone’s approach to fasting might not be the same. We always compare any teaching with Scripture to see if the spirit recommending it, is consistent with the Bible.

A miraculous healing

To summarize, these experiences happened over approximately 2 weeks from November 10 to November 23, 2011. After visiting the doctors, getting an MRI, falling down at times and fighting with intense pain, one day I was taking a shower just trying to get some relief and I heard a word in my shower. The voice said, “just stay home”. After I got out of the shower, my wife was going into town to run some errands and asked me if I wanted to come. I remembered the voice and said no.

After she left, I was knelling down over my bed to pray and before my knees hit the floor, I felt a hand on my back. After the hand moved my pain immediately left and my room was as bright as the sun for about a minute. The tears began to flow, I jumped up and ran around the room! The following morning I felt the same hand on my back. I was lying on my face and it felt like the hand was sweeping from the top of my head to my feet. I recall uncontrollable prayers just coming out. This lasted for a few minutes. The next day I woke up and heard a voice say, “good morning Marvin”. I did not say anything and just figured I was imagining it. The voice said it again, “good morning Marvin”. I said, ok who are you? The voice said, “I am Jesus”.

Over the next 4 days, I would ask the Lord something and he would immediately answer. On my job, I walked by about 6 different people and ask the Lord if he knew them. He responded yes or no. Eventually, the Lord said, do not ask me that question again. Also, at night when I walked to the bathroom, wherever I stepped, there was a light on the floor. It seemed like someone was shining a light on my foot. Also, during this time, Satan entered my room in the form of a white pit bull and sat by the bed. I said in my mind, Lord that’s the Devil! The Lord calmly said yes. I looked directly at him and said out loud, Satan you do not love God and you do not want anyone else to love him. Satan did not say anything but just walked out the room.

Also, during this time, I remember speaking with a co-worker who had just been diagnosed with cancer. I was performing Chaplaincy at that time and asked my boss could I pray over this person. During the prayer, I asked him what he would want from the Lord during this time. He said that the Lord would be with him. That day, he went to lunch and I happened to go to lunch at the same location. We sat down and the Lord gave me the exact sin of this person. I told him and he started to cry and asked, how did you know that? I said, do not worry about that but go home and read Genesis 1-3. By the way, that man’s exact sin was pride and the Lord gave me some details to reveal to him. After a week or so, this person began to go to a local church and reported to me that he had repented, received Christ and was baptized. He died a few months later. I recall wondering if this open dialog with God was my new normal. After approximately 4 days, I remember his voice shut off.

Words for fasting

The information on fasting recommended on my “Prayer & Fasting” page came directly from the Lord during my open dialogue period with the Lord. I remember it took about 5 minutes to receive them. After typing this out, I got up and walked around the room for a while. I remember going back to edit it and my hands began to shake and the Lord said, “do not change it”. While working, I followed this religiously for about 10 years. I fasted for 24 hours on the 1st Saturday of the month. Now that I am retired, I do not fast as often because the prayer sessions are quite difficult. The Lord does not guilt me out for not fasting more. However, one word from the Lord to get back on this routine will definitely be obeyed.

Street Ministries

My friends, I have been doing some form of public ministry such as evangelism, preaching, feeding the homeless and witnessing on the streets for over 25 years. I recall when my current wife and I were just married, I took her around our new neighborhood to evangelize. We knocked on a few doors, introduced ourself as new neighbors and invited them to our Bible study. I recall one house where the gentleman opened the door and before I could get my little sales pitch out, he said I do not want any and slammed the door in our face! I said, honey do not worry because this will happen often. Now, I turned toward my new wife expecting to see her beautiful face, but she was already halfway back to our house. Street witnessing can be tough my friends! Without a doubt, all of us are commanded to witness for the Lord, but not all of us have a direct gift of evangelism. However, if you desire this type of work, chances are the Lord has put that desire in you. During my street ministry career, I have experienced God working through me. I have laid hands on people and seen instant healings, demons have come out and spoken with a different language and many confessions of sin have occurred. When I am on the streets, I ask individuals if they would like prayer and to be added to my prayer list. Anyone hitting my prayer list receives at least 30 days of prayer. Please review the confidential prayer list I have maintained over the years and feel free to request prayer. My prayer list continuous to grow and is being maintained on my phone. I record and post my street preaching and witnessing videos to my channel for others to see this great work in action! Submitting to the mystery

My friends, what does it mean to be saved, born again or know God? Please understand, just like there is an element of mystery to the physical birth, there is an element of mystery to the spiritual birth. Our Lord used the analogy of the wind blowing. We do not know what causes the wind to blow or stop. For my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways not your ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, God’s thoughts are higher than ours. Therefore, we must submit to the mystery, obey God’s rules and trust he knows best for our eternal souls. Throughout my teaching sessions, I explain what I believe it means to be living in this state. However, allow me to present this miracle in the following way.

The light of conscience

First, we must understand God does not need to save us, but he literally killed his Son Jesus to bring us the light of the gospel. God will not cease to exist if our souls are lost. Now the Bible says God is long suffering and patient, not willing that any should perish, but all to come to repentance. Also, we know John 3:16 says how much God loves us, but also says he who does not believe will perish. The Bible says God manifested in the flesh as Jesus and also says God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself. The Bible says Jesus is the Light which lights everyone that comes into the world. I understand this to mean that God, through his Son Jesus, has given everyone an understanding he exist or the light of conscience. For the Bible says God has placed eternity in man’s heart. Therefore, we conclude God has made the first step to reach us.

The humble heart

Second, we must understand our relationship with God is that of Creator/Creation which is similar to a Parent/Child. This is what the Lord meant when he said we must humble ourself as a child to enter his kingdom. Another way of saying this is God makes the rules and we submit to them. My friends, we do not try and bend, twist or wiggle out of the rules. Now as you get to know God better you definitely feel more authority, this is evident to me, a person experiencing his physical presence. However, there is always an element of Master/Servant present. Therefore, we must never come to God in a proud way thinking we are going to bring some new information to him. For Jesus says his Father knows what we need even before we ask and is aware even when a feather falls to the ground. God says the one he will look upon has a poor, contrite spirit and trembles at his word.

Answering the urgent call

Finally, the Bible says if you hear his voice today, do not harden your heart like those who came out of Egypt. Do you think we are going to get all our questions answered on this side of eternity? My friends, do not let fear, doubt, sinful pleasures or stubbornness keep you from his presence. A hard heart is going to say, God I am not going to believe or live for you until you do this. Did Job get all his questions answered during his trial? If God answered all our questions, why would we need faith? The Bible says today is the day of salvation because tomorrow is not promised. Therefore, until a person answers this urgent call they are on borrowed time. Now God has appointed a time when he will judge the world, through his Son Jesus. If my prophecy is correct and based on me experiencing his continuous presence, I certainly believe it is! Therefore, this is the final generation. In this last hour, God through his Holy Spirit, is calling everyone to become reconciled to himself.

The 3Rs of Salvation

My friends, condensing our born again experience, the new life or marriage relationship to the Creator down to a few words or phrases is difficult. However, here is my attempt by using the 3Rs.

The Rules: Sin

Prior to our spiritual rebirth, we come to an understanding we are breaking God’s rules or laws and disobeying him, which means we are sinning or missing the mark God has established for us. Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened that it cannot save or ear heavy that it cannot hear, but your iniquities or sins have separated you from your God. My friends, there is no relationship until we submit to the rules.

The Repentance: Righteousness

We feel shame over rebelling against God and desire to turn from our rebelliousness lifestyle and want to live according to the Lord’s rules. This includes not believing the facts of the Bible. When ready, we get baptized to demonstrate we are dying to the old lifestyle of disobedience or sin and coming out of the water to walk in the new lifestyle of obedience or holiness. When God sees we are sincere, he gives us his Holy Spirit. Now this may or may not be when you come out of the physical water. I know for me, it did not happen at my water baptism.

The Rescue: Judgment

We understand until we obey God that the wrath of God is upon our life and if we die in disobedience, which I understand means practicing sin or unbelief, then he is going to send us to torment for our rebellious, sinful lifestyle. We understand that God loves us so much and has given us his Son, Jesus Christ to be the only blood sacrifice to pay for our sin debt. We develop a hunger and thirst for righteousness and want God to fill us with the Holy Spirit so we can live a life according to his rules. Regardless of what God has done in Christ and through his Holy Spirit, we understand we always deserve God’s wrath.

The power to overcome sin and death

My friends, the only power that can overcome our past sins, shame, hurts and unfulfilled dreams, while helping us obey the Lord, is the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. As we pick up our cross and follow the Lord, God is unleashing the power of the Holy Spirit within us. Is Satan going to ensure we never forget our deepest failures, while he accuses us before the throne? Therefore, we must walk in holiness so the Holy Spirit can continue to bear witness to our spirit that we are forgiven. In the Revelation, we get a good picture of how the soul enters eternal life. Our Lord promises us that if we overcome, we will be a pillar in the temple of his God.

The Blood of the Lamb: God’s part

The Father has sworn that Jesus is a High Priest forever, so if we come correct, the blood will never fail. This means if we fall into sin, let’s humbly repent and ask the Lord for help. In other words, no matter how bad our past was, if we walk in holiness, the blood will do its’ work. God wants us to come boldly before his throne to receive help in time of need.

The word of their testimony: Our external actions

There is no such thing as a quiet or closet Christian. Our Lord says we are the light of the world, so we must let our light shine before men, they will see it and glorify our Father in heaven. What did the Lord say to the guy who received his 1 talent and hid it? If we do not live a bold Christian life we will cower in fear before demons, others and our own sin. To overcome the power of God’s curse, we must continue to submit ourselves as living sacrifices so the power of God’s life flows in us. Some of the scariest words our Lord said was, if we deny him before men he will deny us before his Father. If we are faithless, he remains faithful for he cannot deny himself.

They did not love their lives or this world: Our internal actions

We must not love this fallen, perverted world because if we do, the love of the Father is not in us. For all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Satan showed our Lord all the kingdoms and offered him authority over this world, in exchange for worship. Make no mistake my friends, our eternal souls are worth more than all the riches of this world. This is why the Lord ask the question, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Why did Lots wife look back and why will some cry out alas when Mystery Babylon is destroyed? My friends, their hearts are being broken because the world they love is being destroyed. When God tells us to love God and our neighbor, what do you think this means? My friends, the most loving thing we can do is live our life according to the Lord’s rules and help someone else do the same.

The New Birth: Learning another way

The Bible says as new born babes we should desire the pure milk of the word so we can grow. How does a new born desire the mother’s milk and touch? As a new believer, you must pursue God with a deep hunger to master his word and thirst for the Holy Spirit to help you implement the text. You are learning how to do life according to the Lord’s rules. My friends, I recall when I first came to Christ, I read the Bible for about 8 hours a day for about 6 months straight. During my down time, I listened to nothing but Christian teaching and praise music. When you want the Holy Spirit to help you submit to the Lord, you must immerse yourself into him. As you are walking this way, you will lose your appetite for things not useful for your growth. Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for might be or shall be filled.

A hunger and thirst to do his will

When our Lord gave the Parable of the Sower, the seed could not take root in the shallow, hard soil, so this person quickly feel away. Shallow soil represents someone not willing to take the time to develop their relationship with the Creator, but only wants a quick ticket to heaven. Hard soil represents someone still trying to resist the Lord’s rules. Trust me, your initial emotional experience during the rebirth will leave and only those souls heavily invested in the kingdom will persevere. Our Creator, the great I AM will give us some supernatural experiences, however we cannot depend on them to sustain us. Even if the Holy Spirit caused his presence to cease on this little man, I assure you I will continue to live the same way. We must develop a resolve to do his work, with or without feeling his presence. The Lord said no one who puts his hands to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom. We must go all in my friends. A new believer cannot have an attitude that says Lord I cannot find time to serve you. Some said Lord I just started a business, some said I just took a wife and some said let me first go and bury my father. Now what was the Lord’s response?

The process of sanctification

I understand the Greek word for sanctification is Hagiasmos and my research indicates the meaning is to be made holy or set apart for the purposes of God. Therefore, sanctification does not mean I will be sinning less and less, but rather I am always being set apart for the master’s use. Yes my friends, this means we are no longer yielding to our fleshly desires, but are setting ourself apart from practices against the Lord’s rules. A person who is sinning less and less is still living in disobedience. Now, obviously God wants us to sin less and less, but that is not the goal. For it is the grace of God that teaches us to say no to unrighteousness. Our Lord tells us to pluck out the eyes and cut off the body parts causing us to sin.

However, just as a new born will fall often when learning to walk, a new believer will struggle more with obedience than a mature one. The reason is your experiences with the pleasures of the flesh are far more recent than the seasoned Christian. God knows some sins take a while for us to let go or die to. For instance, I have been in the Lord for decades and have been experiencing his continuous presence for the last 8 years. My friends, it has only been about 4 years since I have decided to stop visiting casinos, nightclubs and bars. Also, as a new believer, you are just starting to practice spiritual disciplines. Does the Lord demand we go to work?

Please find a parable in the Gospels saying we do not have to work to enter the kingdom. In the parable of the talents, the Lord gave one 5, another 2 and another 1. What did the Lord say about the servant hiding his 1 talent? In the parable of the workers hired for his vineyard, what was the Lord’s question to the guy standing around? Did not Jesus say I must work while we have the day because the time is coming when no man can work? The Lord said, no one who puts his hands to the plow and looks back, is fit for the kingdom. My friends, how do farmers use a plow? In the parable of the lost pearl, the individual swept the entire room looking for the pearl. Can you see the effort the person is putting out to find the pearl? Did not the man who found the field, go and sell everything he had to purchase the field? What is the great commission saying to all believers, go witness or stay quiet?

Let’s review the parable of the prodigal son in the Gospel of Luke. What did the prodigal son do after living a worthless life and wasting his father’s money? Did he hope or believe or have faith that his father still loved him, that he could receive a pardon and be received back into the family? Yes, otherwise he would not have attempted a reunion. Do you think his hope or belief or faith would have gained him forgiveness unless he got up out of the pig pen (stop breaking the rules), ran to the father (confession and repentance) and asked the father to allow him to serve no longer as a son but a hired hand (new life of service)? Do you remember the older son choosing not to forgive his brother and come to the celebration? My friends, do you think forgiving someone from the heart is easy or hard work? Now, we saw the father’s heart on display when he saw his son from a long distance.

Understanding the cost to the Godhead

Now salvation is a gracious gift from God, but do not let anyone tell you it did not cost God to send Jesus and therefore, you better believe it will cost us to enter into eternal life. It stands to reason that if God put his Son Jesus through the cross, then he is definitely going to put us through something. When our Lord was in the garden before going to the cross, he pleaded with the Father and his sweat was like drops of blood. My friends, the redemption of our soul continues to be a heavy cost to the Godhead. The reason the Lord commands us to observe the ritual of communion, on a regular basis, is he wants this cost to always be before our eyes.

The Bible says the Holy Spirit is convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Do you think this is easy work for the Holy Spirit? If we believe God is completely holy and righteous, while the unrepentance person is extremely vile, then he is allowing himself to experience this rebellion to win the sinner’s soul. My friends, while we are living in sin or disobedience, God is putting up with our perverted sexual fantasies and addictions, prideful attitudes, hating our fellow man and obsession with ourselves. This is why the Bible commands us not to grieve the Holy Spirit.

Did not our Lord say my Father is working, so I must continue to work. Now, no one knows how long God will labor for any particular soul, but we know he labored for the thief on the cross until his final hour. We are so grateful our Creator is long suffering, not willing any would perish, but all would come to repentance. Our Lord Jesus paid the cost, overcame temptation and now is sitting on the Father’s throne waiting for the word to return. We to, must pay the cost and overcome temptation, so we can reign with him.

Understanding the cost to Us

My friends, even though we are paying a cost to follow our Lord, can we really compare it to the glory God is going to reveal in us? Now we know how holy God is, therefore, no human being, except Jesus, can earn or demand salvation. The Bible says Jesus blood is the only blood that can pay the sin debt. However, Jesus said strive to enter in for many will try and not be able. We must deny ourself, pickup or cross and follow Jesus. In other words, we are denying ourself pleasures that are against the Lord’s rules. This means when no one is looking, we always desire to obey the rules. We pick up our cross or accept persecution for living for him. That includes not getting angry at people who look at you like a religious nut. We follow the Lord, which includes building the Kingdom of God. This means to order our careers and lives so we can give the most to the Kingdom.

Hebrews tells us many who came out of Egypt did not enter because the word they heard was not mixed with faith, thus leading to obedience. For our Lord said, no one begins to build before sitting down and counting the cost. My friends, we must humble ourselves and fall on the cross and the strong rock, that is Christ, will lift us up. This includes us fighting against pride and always wanting to be right. Now is there a cost to denying some of our desires to follow the Lord? Of course, but we who are paying this cost realize God still gives us a lot of other pleasures. However, once the Mark of the Beast hits our world, we will lose a lot of these comforts not being able to access our money.

Salvation is more than just believing Jesus died on the cross and other facts of the Bible. Salvation is us entering into the cross and dying daily to our ways and asking God to give us his Holy Spirit, so we can live by his rules. This means us allowing the Spirit to help us keep the sin out of our lives. Paul said I die daily and he was crucified with Christ. Do you know dying daily to the things trying to lead us astray is hard work? This includes filling all our hours up with things not of God. Also, when we discuss hot topics and insist on having the last word or choose not to forgive, Satan as well as our flesh, loves this. My friends, is it easy or hard to respond the right way or turn the other cheek, when someone is attacking you? Now turning the other cheek does not mean to let someone physically assault you. Ultimately, the cost we will pay after this life for not living for him is eternal suffering, which was intended for Satan and his angels.

The narrow way or the broad way

Eternal life is not something we are going to just stumble into. Before we are born again, we all have a hard, prideful resistant heart to the ways of the Lord, but once we are born of him, we get a soft, humble heart that bends to his will. The Christian life is a sacrificial, unselfish, focused life. However, without this level of commitment, we will definitely stumble into hell. At times, will we struggle with obeying the Lord and saying no to the flesh? Yes. However, struggling with sin is not the same as giving into sin. Blessed is the man who endures temptation for in the end, he will receive the crown of life. We pluck the eyes out or cut off the parts leading us into sin. Now our Lord is not telling us to mutilate ourself, but rather to attack the problem with this level of effort.

Jesus said the right path is narrow, difficult and few are on it. Alternatively, the wrong path which leads to destruction is broad and many are on it. Notice, there are no other paths our lives can take. In other words, you are either in the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Satan. No one is walking both paths at the same time for it is impossible to be in two places at once. During Jeremiah’s day, God said, because my people have forgotten me and turned from the ancient paths to walk in pathways and not on the highway. In Ezekiel’s time, the Lord said I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take the stony heart out of them and give them a heart of flesh. My friends, this is the same message the Lord is giving us New Testament people, we must walk on the narrow path. Then, they will walk in my statutes and keep my judgments, then they shall be my people and I will be their God.

The smell of holiness or stench of sin

When we die to ourselves on the altar, the Lord pours his life giving blood on us and the Holy Spirit lights us on fire. Then, our lives ascend as a sweet smelling aroma of holiness and sacrifice before the Father. My friends, this is well pleasing in his nostrils. If our lives are not giving off the sweet smell of holiness they are giving off the stench of sin and rebellion! For we are the fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. For one is an aroma from life to life and the other, from death to death. Now, do you think God has a limit on how much death or stench he is willing to smell from a person’s life?

Prayer & Fasting Guidance

My friends, my prayer sessions last for about an hour. Even though we are commanded to pray, there is nothing fun about prayer, it is definitely work! However, without it we cannot advance the kingdom. I finally understand what the Lord meant when he said the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. In other words, the demonic attacks against our lives, especially during prayer time, will increase and we must deny ourself, pick up our cross and forge ahead. I am experiencing all types of sensations in that prayer room. Do I know which sensations are from the Holy Spirit and which are from spirits trying to stop me? Mostly, but not always. However, thank God I do not do drugs because I am definitely interacting with the spirit world!

Understand, the Holy Spirit interacts with each of us in his unique way and leads us in different directions according to our gifts. Please do not pray or try to interact with the spirit world in any other way other than how Jesus teaches us in the Bible. Do not visit fortune tellers, palm readers, death shrines, hold seances, use crystals, burn sage, seek spiritual guides, participate in spiritual sweat shops, use Ouija boards, practice Astrology or certain types of yoga, attend new age retreats or any form of spiritualism. Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. Trust me, the spirit world is extremely real and eager to interact with us. Now that I am so close to God, I understand how jealous he is, so we must always obey the rules, so he will not allow us to be deceived.

Now, if the spirit world begins to interact with you, like it is doing with me, run directly to the Bible and compare your experience with the Scriptures. If your experience appears inconsistent with the Scriptures, then ask the God of the Bible to help you understand what is going on. Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams and cause my people to err by their lies and by their recklessness, says the Lord! Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you, says the Lord!
